Task-Force Valves - 4-Way Control Valves
Construction - Heat treated sleeves and rotor are ground to a high micro finish, and close tolerances enable GFP/Rodgers 4-way rotary shear type valves to hold a load for long periods with minimal pressure drop. Sleeve-type seals are accurately lapped to the rotor. In addition, balanced pressures within the valve insure proper sealing force between the sleeve and rotor for leak proof shut-off and excellent performance characteristics. Positive Operation - The valve operates by means of a lever which moves in a 90° arc. The center (neutral) position is determined by a ball detent, and stops on the valve cap limit the travel of the lever at each end. Minimum Pressure Drop - Large internal porting with cylinder cross sections enables flow rate with minimal pressure drop. Easy Maintenance - Valves are quickly disassembled if necessary for maintenance. They may be serviced without disturbing piping. Long Life - Wiping action of seals discourages dirt accumulation. Operating Data - Fluid temperature range from -40° to +250°F. Standard O-ring is Viton. Three-position detent is provided. Handle rotates 90°: 45° to each side of center detent. Ports - All ports will withstand 10,000 P.S.I. pressure. Valve body has been pressure tested to withstand pressures in excess of 15,000 P.S.I. See the links on the left for specific product lines.
